Multifunctional construction 3D printing.

Fastest way to create bespoke houses.

SERVICES

What is LineBar?

LineBar develops multifunctional 3D printing technology for fast and high-quality construction, opening up new possibilities in design and architecture.

Our goal is to provide high-speed method of construction meanwhile put bespoke designs in a first place.

The developed LineBar technology is embodied in the Ant 3D printer and allows to simultaneously print multiple materials such as concrete, foams, and polymers while smoothing the printed surfaces and applying layers of waterproofing, plaster, and even paint. Our goal is to radically increase the efficiency of the construction process and provide customers with technology that allows automating the construction of complex building elements, such as walls, staircases, facade elements, and others.

BENEFITS

  • High speed of construction

Simultaneous utilization of several tools for concrete 3D printing and surfaces post-treatment allows to cut time of frame construction by 12 times

  • Efficiency

The use of multiple materials for 3D printing allows you to create composite elements without the use of a workforce

  • Decrease in labor

Considering labor shortage issue, LineBar allows to cut 80% of labor in house framing construction by automating the process by one machine

  • Freedom of design

LineBar tech is mostly based on 3D printing, allowing to build projects with bold and futuristic architecture without overpaying

  • Mobility

The motion platform enables the 3D printer to automatically move around the construction site even during the printing process

  • Sustainability

Our robot is able to create a composite building elements with better thermal characteristics that provides climate resilient quality. Moreover, in 3D printing process, waste of materials equals 0

How It Works

Transportation to the site

LineBar Ant is transported to the site and drives itself from the truck ramp to the foundation of the construction site

Work preparation

After LineBar Ant moved to the construction site, the installation of a control unit and material pumps takes place and connection to the power supply and hoses are all connected, the mixtures are fed to the printer to check the readiness of the system

Testing

LineBar Ant makes a test movement along the perimeter of the construction site to determine the rotation angles by the positioning system and the data obtained is taken into account for further printing

Printing

The continuous printing process takes place according to the 3D model of the printing object processed by our software. It is only necessary to install plates for openings and rebars if necessary and control the amount of material, which is also signaled to the operator by our software

Completion

The print of the object is ready and now the contractors can start working! After the completion of the work, LineBar Ant moves out of the border of the site and the system of cleaning the printer from print materials is turned on. After cleaning and disconnecting from the control unit and the supply of mixtures, it can autonomously move back to the truck for transportation to a new site

About us
Icon-3.PNG

LineBar is a Ukrainian-based startup with global ambitions that was created in 2019 by experienced architect and engineer Konstantin Barashkin as a solution to an inefficient, expensive, and polluting process of construction.

LineBar aims to challenge global housing crisis and labor shortage by automation tech that significantly speed up construction process, provide freedom of design and durability. In order to provide powerful solution for the mentioned challenges the team develops robot LineBar Ant, which is able autonomously create house frames including finishing layers. We are sure that the power of LineBar’s developing tech will provide significant advantages on the construction sites globally!

Team

Our team consists of professionals with wast multidisciplinary expertise in architecture & engineering, machinery development and 3d printing, aiming to create a product  that will conquer global housing crisis and help those in sharp need for adequate housing.
